Sven Coppers began their work experience in 2016 as a Researcher at UHasselt, where they focused on investigating new visualizations and interaction techniques for context-aware IoT. Sven then transitioned to a PhD Student role, continuing their research and expecting to graduate in summer 2021. In 2021, Sven joined Veterinary Solutions Bv as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Guardsquare, a company specializing in mobile application security solutions.

Sven Coppers completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from UHasselt, where they were enrolled from 2011 to 2016. In 2013, they also attended a summer school called "Virtuality in reality" at The University of Manchester.
