Malika BU has worked in various software engineering roles throughout their career. In 2018, they were a Robotics Programmer at the Robotics Club ENSIAS. From 2019 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at OBytes, where they were responsible for designing and implementing intranet applications, defining and implementing business processes, and developing and fixing bugs in the development framework. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at DigitED. In 2021, they joined Sorbonne Université as a Software Engineer-Machine Learning R&D at LCPMR-Laboratoire de Chimie Physique, Matière et Rayonnement. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Guardsquare, starting in 2023.

Malika Bu completed their education at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et d'Analyse des Systèmes (ENSIAS) from 2018 to 2021. Malika obtained a Computer Science Degree with a specialization in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Malika earned a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in April 2021. Malika also achieved the Big Data Engineer 2021 Mastery Award from IBM in February 2021. In addition, Malika received a Certificate of Achievement - 3rd Place - Girls Code - 4th edition from the ICPC - International Collegiate Programming Contest in March 2019.
