Mqondisi Khumalo is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in compliance and legal affairs. Currently serving as Head: Legal at Guardrisk since March 2018, Mqondisi has held various roles including Manager: Legal and Compliance Business Partner for Life and Microinsurance, and Legal and Compliance Business Partner. Prior to this, Mqondisi worked as a Regulatory Compliance Supervisor at KPMG South Africa, where involvement included interpreting legislation for public and private sector engagements. Mqondisi began a legal career as an Attorney at Munnik Basson Dagama Incorporated Attorneys, providing policy analysis and legal guidance, after starting as a Candidate Attorney focusing on debt collection matters. Mqondisi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Insurance and Risk Management, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
