Daniel Sirota has extensive work experience in various roles. From 2018 onwards, they served as the VP R&D & Co-Founder at Guardio, a company developing tools and products to combat web and browser threats. In this role, they led a team that analyzed billions of events, pages, images, and code pieces per day to protect almost 1 million users from malvertising, phishing, scams, and malicious extensions.
Prior to their time at Guardio, Daniel held the same position at Arpeely, a Data-Science startup, starting from 2017. There, they utilized data analysis, machine learning, engineering, and multi-disciplinary thinking to gain a market edge and exploit hidden opportunities in real-time advertising. Their responsibilities included building and operating machine learning pipelines that selected impressions on the world's largest Real-time-bidding (RTB) Ad-Exchanges.
Before their work in the private sector, Daniel was a Security Researcher & Developer at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel starting in 2011. Daniel held this position for five years, from October 2011 to December 2016.
Daniel Sirota completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Haifa from 2008 to 2011.
