Prem Sumetpong is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in security architecture and systems development. Currently serving as a Senior Security Architect at Guardian Life since January 2024, Prem also holds the position of Director of Technology at STEAMpark, INC., providing strategic support for technology needs, IT security management, and system integrations. Previously, Prem worked at Avaya from September 1996 to October 2023, culminating roles as an Enterprise and Solution Architect and Systems Architecture Director. Notable achievements include leading the development of secure remote access solutions and contributing to the architecture of Avaya’s first-generation Unified Communication Center product. Prem's career began at Mahidol University, where responsibilities included network management and software development. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree with first honors from Mahidol University.
