Tair Ismailov has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Tair is currently working as a Strategic Engagement Director at GSMA, where they manage industry programs and strategic initiatives in Russia, CIS & MENA regions. Tair is responsible for building partnerships and providing strategic consultancy to industry executives and regulatory bodies.

Prior to this, Tair worked at Ericsson for several years in various roles. Tair served as the Head of Digital Services from September 2016 to January 2018, where they were responsible for managing digital service projects. Before that, they worked as a Customer Operations Manager from January 2013 to August 2016, overseeing customer operations. Tair also served as a Member of the Young Advisory Board to the CEO Office from June 2013 to May 2014, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Additionally, Tair worked as a Project Manager from February 2010 to December 2012 and as a Contract Administrator from August 2008 to January 2010.

Tair Ismailov earned a Bachelor's degree in Oriental and African studies from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2004 to 2008. Tair then pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the Russian State University for the Humanities from 2008 to 2010. In 2020, Tair enrolled in the New Economic School, where they obtained a Masters in Finance between 2020 and 2022. In addition to their academic background, they obtained certifications as a Business Development Manager from TM Forum in 2016 and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2012.
