Mats Granryd serves as the Director General at GSMA since January 2016 and holds various leadership positions, including membership on the Board of Directors at SVT and serving as Chair of the Board of Directors at Vattenfall and Coor. Granryd was previously a member of the Board of Directors at Swedbank until April 2020 and was the CEO of Tele2 AB from August 2010 to December 2015. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Ericsson as MU Head and a role at Andersen Consulting as a Senior. Mats Granryd earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Manufacturing Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1984 and 1988.
