Maarten Vergouwen is an experienced executive with a robust background in IT, e-commerce, and business development. As the Chief Information Officer at GS1 Nederland since November 2021 and a Partner at Ludemus from January 2020, Maarten has been involved in innovative projects related to verifiable credentials, decentralized finance, and next-generation e-commerce platforms. Previously, Maarten held several key positions at ANWB, including CIO/COO of the Travel group, where responsibilities included IT management, e-commerce initiatives, and strategic planning. Additional experience includes interim roles, software development, and analysis at organizations such as Cruise Travel, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Fortis Bank.
