Sean Curran is an experienced IT risk and compliance professional currently serving as the Director of IT Risk and Compliance at GS1 Canada since October 2019. Previously, Sean held multiple senior roles at TD, including Senior Manager of Governance & Controls in Real Estate Secured Lending, where responsibility included leading risk analysis for agile projects, and Senior Managing Architect, overseeing process compliance and governance for the Enterprise Architecture function. Sean also managed significant IT operations and governance initiatives at Just Energy and Energy Savings Group, showcasing a comprehensive background in IT governance, project management, and team leadership. Education includes a B.A. in History and English from the University of Toronto and an MBA currently in progress at Carleton University.
