Karen Touma is an accomplished marketing and communications leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Communications, Creative and Content at GS1 Canada since September 2016, Karen has previously held senior roles at organizations such as Shaw Communications, Earth Rangers, Teletoon, Armstrong Partnership, Alliance Films Inc, and Capitol Records. With a strong background in brand strategy and marketing, notable positions include Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing for Food Network, HGTV, and Slice, as well as International Marketing Director at Capitol Records. Karen pursued academic studies at the University of Toronto, specifically at University of St. Michael's College.
