Jong Hyuk Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jong Hyuk currently serves as the Chief Digital and Data Officer at GS Retail Inc., starting in December 2023. Prior to this role, they held positions at GS SHOP as the Chief Technology Officer from September 2019 to June 2021. Jong Hyuk also worked at IBM as an Associate Partner from March 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they served as a Senior Managing Director at LG CNS Co., Ltd. from January 2001 to March 2017. In the early years of their career, they worked as a Research and Development engineer at Daewoo Heavy Industries in Korea from March 1997 to December 2000.

Jong Hyuk Lee completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university during the period of 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they received a certification in "Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing Our Digital Future" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2021.
