Cristian Alonso Villarroel Soto currently serves as an Ingeniero Senior en el Centro de Control Transmisión at Grupo Saesa since May 2024. Prior to this role, Cristian held various positions at Transelec S.A from October 2013 to May 2024, including Jefe Control de Riesgo Operacional and Jefe de Turno de Centro Nacional de Operaciones de Transmisión, overseeing real-time operations and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards. Cristian's career began at CGE S.A. from January 2011 to October 2013 as an Analista de Operaciones at the Centro de Operaciones de Transmisión, where responsibilities included supervising installations through SCADA systems and coordinating with CDEC-SIC. Cristian holds a Diplomado de Gestión de Activos Físicos from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Diplomado en Operación de Sistemas Eléctricos de Potencia from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and a degree in Ingeniería Ejecución Electrico from Universidad del Bío Bío.
