Fernando Varela is an experienced executive in the field of civil engineering, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO at Grupo RAUROS, a consulting firm focused on the development of new technologies in civil engineering since 2002. In addition, Fernando has held directorship positions for the Master's programs in Management and Infrastructure Planning, as well as Audits of Mobility and Road Safety at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2015 to 2022. Fernando holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Infrastructure Asset Management from the same institution.
