Escarlen Vásquez has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Escarlen started their career at EY, where they worked as a Senior Auditor from 2009 to 2013. In this role, they led and participated in financial audits for various clients, overseeing the development and execution of audit plans.

Following their time at EY, Escarlen joined Macrotech Farmacéutica as a Leader of Internal Auditing in 2013. Their responsibilities included designing, leading, and executing internal audits, as well as conducting financial and process audits.

In 2014, Escarlen joined Grupo Ramos, first as a Finance Information Manager and later as the Director of Finance Information and Accounting. Their work involved overseeing financial information, accounting, and control processes, adhering to international financial reporting standards. Escarlen also led change projects and implementations to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions, providing strategic support in decision-making.

Throughout their career, Escarlen showcased their expertise in financial analysis, planning, and control, applying international accounting standards and driving continuous improvement.

Escarlen Vásquez's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, obtained between 2006 and 2009. Escarlen then pursued a Master's degree in Financial Administration from Universidad APEC, with a specialization in Financial Administration between 2012 and 2013, and a Master's degree in Financial Administration from the same institution with no specified start and end dates. In 2016-2017, Escarlen obtained a Diploma in Corporate Taxation from ICPARD. In 2021, they completed a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (NIIF) from BDO Business School with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Currently, Escarlen is enrolled in the Barna Management School's Executive Development Program, specializing in Business Administration and Management, with expected completion in 2023. Escarlen has also obtained additional certifications such as the HelixPlan Facilitation Methodology from The Helix Group, Inc., Conversaciones Cruciales from VitalSmarts, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from ICPARD - LA VEGA.
