Wilson Orlando Zegarra Escalante has extensive experience in the mining and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the MINERIA Y ASUNTOS AMBIENTALES at DREM CAJAMARCA since October 2023, Wilson also holds the position of Jefe de Remediaci贸n Ambiental y Tratamiento de Efluentes at Grupo Minero Bonanza since January 2022. Wilson has been a consultant since September 2016 and has worked as a Supervisor de Manejo de Aguas at Minera Barrick Misquichilca S.A. since November 2011, overseeing various water management processes, including cyanide detoxification and acid neutralization. Prior to this role, Wilson managed process control and operations at Minera Barrick Misquichilca S.A. from July 1998 to November 2011. Wilson holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Privada del Norte, earned between 2009 and 2011.
