Edna Montiel is an experienced accounting professional, currently serving as Gerente de Contabilidad at Grupo HITEC since December 2018. Previously, Edna held the position of Team Leader Reporting & Compliance for Vestas in Mexico and the Caribbean from August 2014 to October 2017, overseeing tax compliance and financial statements for multiple Latin American countries. Edna also worked as Supervisor Regional de Control Interno at Takeda from March 2011 to July 2014, focusing on risk assessment methodology and audit plan execution. Earlier in Edna's career, a role as Supervisor Senior de Auditoria at KPMG involved planning and executing audits for companies within the consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. Edna holds a degree in Accounting with a focus on Taxes from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
