Eugenio Alvarez Ibarguengoitia serves as the Vice President of Global Engineering and Maintenance at Grupo Bimbo since December 2023. Previously, from December 2013 to November 2023, Eugenio held multiple roles at Mondelēz International, including Director of NA Engineering Digital Manufacturing and Engineering Associate Director for NA Process Controls & Information Systems and HS&E. Responsibilities encompassed overseeing process automation, controls, and health, safety, and environmental initiatives. Prior experience at Mondelēz also involved leadership in growth programs and engineering at the Monterrey-Salinas bakeries Hub, as well as senior site engineering and new plant packing leadership. Earlier in career, Eugenio was Project Manager at Procter & Gamble from February 2004 to November 2013. Education includes completion of a program at MIT Professional Education in 2022.
