Dilanka Muthukumarana has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Dilanka started their career at eGlobal Services Pvt Ltd as a Developer, where they developed a web-based Employee Information Handling System. Dilanka then worked at Virtusa Pvt Ltd as an Associate Engineer - Technology, primarily focusing on Citi Bank PRPC system for Securities.

Afterward, Dilanka joined Codegen International Pvt Ltd as a Software Engineer, responsible for the development of a large-scale product called "Travel Box." Dilanka also migrated a reporting module to use Jasper reports and implemented SOAP-based reporting APIs using web services.

Next, they worked at NCS Group as an Application Consultant, where they played a key role in designing and building server components for multiple applications of Citi bank Asia Pacific.

Dilanka then moved to Pactera, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer before being promoted to a Technical Team Lead. Dilanka conducted software development, gathered requirements, prepared technical design documents, and led the team in completing complex requirements.

Dilanka subsequently joined Aviva Asia as a Technical Team Lead, where they led the support and development for the Aviva general insurance portal and mobile application. Dilanka also led disaster recovery planning and activities for the general insurance application scope of Aviva.

At Cambio Software Engineering and Cambio Healthcare Systems, Dilanka held the position of Senior Technical Lead and Technical Lead. Dilanka led the back-end development for the core-platform product, integrated SAML authentication to the product, and conducted proof of concepts and technical design reviews.

Before joining GrubTech as a Software Architect/POD lead, Dilanka worked at GREAT EASTERN as a Senior Consultant. Dilanka was responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a single sign-on service for internal and external applications. Dilanka also conducted architecture and design applications and improved the company's technical roadmap.

In their current role at GrubTech, Dilanka serves as a Software Architect/POD lead. Dilanka takes ownership of core microservices, ensures product stability and robustness, and implements and improves CI/CD pipelines across multiple microservices.

From 2017 to 2019, Dilanka attended the University of Colombo and obtained a Master of Information Security degree in the field of Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

From 2006 to 2009, Dilanka studied at the University of Kelaniya and earned a B.Sc in Management and Information Technology.

From 1994 to 2005, Dilanka attended Walisinghe Harishchandra Collage in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, where they obtained a GCE A/L degree in Combined Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
