Genevieve Wang

Chief Product Officer at GrubMarket

Genevieve Wang is the current Chief Product Officer at GrubMarket. Prior to this, they served as a Strategic Projects Consultant at Brightidea from December 2013 to November 2020, where they led the efforts for the national launch of Zipongo's consumer offering. Genevieve also oversaw 5 direct reports across product, design, and content, and was very hands-on with the company's product development.

In their role as Director of Product Management and Marketing at Foodsmart from June 2012 to January 2014, Genevieve was responsible for user acquisition and engagement. Genevieve tested and built capabilities that included email/SMS marketing programs, A/B testing, personalized content delivery, user onboarding/re-engagement flows, and customer support. As a result of their efforts, monthly user engagement rates increased to over 65%.

Genevieve Wang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA in Product Management, Marketing, and Startups from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

They work with Bryan Barsness - VP, Sales & Marketing, Martin Anenberg - VP, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Chako Fairbanks - VP, Operations. Genevieve Wang reports to Mike Xu, CEO, Founder & President.
