Andrey Lopantsev is an accomplished professional currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Asteroid Mining Corporation Ltd, focusing on developing advanced legged robotics for space exploration and industrial applications. As Chief Executive Officer of GrowYourOwn Ltd., Andrey co-founded a company dedicated to innovative vertical mushroom farming solutions that maximize urban food production. Recent experience includes leading commercial strategy for the European Space Agency's NEOMIR planetary defense mission and participating as Team Lead for the Lunar Commerce Portfolio with the Moon Village Association. Andrey's background also includes involvement with Manchester Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, a stint as Street Team Manager at The Warehouse Project, and an internship at Aethel Partners. An alumnus of The University of Manchester, Andrey holds a BEng in Aerospace Engineering.
