Marek Novak is an experienced software developer with a strong background in backend and full stack development. Currently serving as a Back End Developer at GrowthDay since April 2022, Marek previously worked as a Full Stack Engineer at hyperexponential and as a Senior Software Engineer at Expedia, Inc., where a high-throughput service for marketing fee calculations was developed, handling millions of requests per minute. Marek's early career included roles at ceelabs and Betfair Romania Development, focusing on system designs and REST business service integrations. Additionally, Marek has considerable academic experience, including a PhD focus on ambient intelligence, with contributions to international projects like MonAMI, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Computers and Informatics from the Technical University of Košice.
