Richard Genga is the CEO of Growgenics, a position they have held since January 2018. Prior to Growgenics, Richard was the Managing Partner at Acela Design from October 2010 to January 2018. Acela Design provides advanced engineering and product development services with a specific focus on medical and healthcare related products. Richard was also the Director of Business Development at Item New Product Development from October 2002 to October 2005 where they oversaw the development of innovative industrial, consumer, and medical products. In September 2007, Richard became the Engineering & Operations Executive at R&D Technologies and held that position until September 2010 when they transitioned to Chief Engineer at CyberMDx. At CyberMDx, Richard designed and developed an integrated hardware and software solution that connected doctors to patients anywhere on the globe, allowing patients immediate and unlimited access to the best medical expertise regardless of location or distance.

Richard Genga has a BSME from the University of Rhode Island in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics.
