Erica McDaniel, LCSW, serves as the Director of Clinical Leadership at Grow Through Life Counseling since January 2023, also holding the roles of Clinical Manager and Clinical Supervisor. Prior experience includes a position as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician within the County of San Diego's Behavioral Health Services from August 2016 to January 2023, where responsibilities involved intake screening, psycho-social interviews, clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Additional roles include Protective Services Worker and MSW Intern in Child Welfare Services, and MSW Intern at San Marcos Unified School District, where counseling for students was a focus. Earlier experience as a Human Resources Specialist at RAMS, Inc. and Achieve Beyond provided a foundation in community-based mental health advocacy and support for families with special needs. Erica McDaniel earned a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Social Work from San Diego State University.
