Michael Rom has extensive experience in the field of factory automation and large drives, currently serving as the Country Business Unit Head for Factory Automation at Siemens since July 1995. Previous roles at Siemens include leading various business units and sales teams, as well as focusing on sales support and business development in Central Eastern Europe. Michael's career commenced at Zwag AG as a Maschinenmechaniker in automation technology from April 1987 to April 1991. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, a Wirtschaftsingenieur degree focused on Sales and Marketing, and completion of the Executive Management Program at SKU Management in Switzerland.
