Matthew Cockerill is an experienced design professional with a strong background in innovation and leadership. Currently serving as an Independent Design Innovation Consultant since March 2019 and as a Design Partner at GROUP OF HUMANS® since February 2020, Matthew also held the position of Student Mentor at MyBigCareer from April 2021 to April 2024. Previous roles include Creative Director and Head of Studio at Swift Creatives, Creative Director & Board Member at Seymourpowell, and Senior Designer at both tangerine and Samsung Electronics. Matthew began the career as an Associate Designer at DCA Design International after earning an MA in Industrial Design from De Montfort University and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Salford.
