Alexey Kashtanov is an experienced digital forensics and incident response professional currently serving as the Head of the Digital Forensics and Incident Response Lab (APAC) at Group-IB since April 2017. With a progression of roles within the same organization, Alexey also holds positions as Team Lead of the Digital Forensics and Incident Response Team (APAC) and Principal Digital Forensics Specialist. Prior to Group-IB, Alexey worked as a Digital Forensics Analyst at CSI Group from January 2016 to April 2017 and served as a Senior Computer Forensics Examiner at the Moscow Police Department from July 2010 to December 2015. Alexey’s educational background includes a Specialist degree in Information Systems and Technology from the Russian State University of Tourism and Service (2005-2010), along with supplementary education courses from the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages and RANEPA.
