Jill Ritchie has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jill started their career in 1994 as a Med/Surg RN at Gratiot Hospital and worked there until 1998. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Home Health RN at Upper Peninsula Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty. In 1998, they moved to War Memorial Hospital and worked as a Day Surgery RN for a year.
In 1999, Jill joined Mackinac Straits Hospital as an Emergency RN and worked there until 2003. Jill then moved to Sault Area Hospital and worked as a Critical Care RN from 2003 to 2009.
In 2009, Jill started working at Group Health Centre and held various roles over the years. Jill began as an Occupational Health RN and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Team Lead Occupational Health RN. Jill then became a Clinical Services Manager in 2015 and served in that role until 2018. Currently, they are the Director of Clinical Nursing and Best Practice at Group Health Centre.
Jill Ritchie has gained valuable experience in different areas of nursing, including med/surg, home health, emergency, critical care, occupational health, and clinical management.
Jill Ritchie completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Lake Superior State University in 1993. Later on, they pursued a degree in Occupational Health in Nursing, specializing in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene, at St. Lawrence College from 2013 to 2015.
