Sarah Reece-Mills has had extensive work experience in various roles within Groundwork Northern Ireland, Groundwork, Groundwork UK, and Solihull MBC. Their most recent role was as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Groundwork Northern Ireland in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Partnerships and Programmes at Groundwork from 2015, where they led fundraising, communications, and partnership development activities with national audiences. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they obtained a certification as a "CAF International Validated Organization" from CAF America.
