Sylwia W. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sylwia most recently worked at Ground Truth Intelligence as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), where they oversaw the business's overall strategy and managed the operations of the Fulfilment Team. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Strategy at the same company, where they led the Go-to-market (GTM) strategy and product strategy. Sylwia also served as Head of Product Strategy, where they developed the company's mid-and long-term strategy, designed internal resources frameworks, and represented the business at industry events.

Before joining Ground Truth Intelligence, Sylwia worked at Refinitiv, where they held the role of Risk Solutions Consultant - EDD and represented the company's Risk Managed Services in industry events. Sylwia also served as Head of Proposition, Enhanced Due Diligence, overseeing the development of commercial opportunities and leading the proposition and product requirements for the EDD Business.

Prior to Refinitiv, Sylwia worked at Thomson Reuters in various roles, including Head of Managed Services Product Development and Head of Enhanced Due Diligence Operations in EMEA. In these positions, they played a role in building and maintaining financial crime managed services, managing research teams, and improving internal processes.

Sylwia also gained experience at World-Check as Head of EMEA Client Services and General Manager/Research Head, as well as at IntegraScreen as a Research Analyst.

Overall, Sylwia has demonstrated expertise in strategy development, product management, sales enablement, and research operations within the financial crime and due diligence fields.

Sylwia W.'s education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Sylwia pursued a Master's Degree in British and American Literature and Culture, completing their studies in 2007.

Following a gap of two years, Sylwia W. returned to education in 2009, this time at Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie. Sylwia pursued a post-graduate degree in Economics and Company Management, completing their studies in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Sylwia W. obtained additional certifications. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in Investment Migration (Cert (IM)) from the Investment Migration Council. In October 2012, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS.
