Katherine Ritsema has a strong background in finance and information technology with experience in various industries.
Katherine currently serves as the Executive Director of Information Technology at GCM Grosvenor, a position they have held since February 2022.
Prior to their current role, Katherine worked at KPMG, where they held multiple positions. Katherine served as a Director of Finance Transformation from October 2017 to February 2022, leading the Financial Management Practice and focusing on Oracle EPM implementations. Katherine was also a Manager in Financial Management, specializing in Close and Consolidations and contributing to the development of KPMG's Powered EPM solution. Notably, they led a reporting rationalization team for a fast-food company, assessing reporting applications and identifying optimization opportunities. Katherine also led the implementation team for Financial Close Manager at an agricultural biotech company, designing and building the FCM application and developing custom reports.
Before KPMG, Katherine worked at Northern Trust Corporation as a Second Vice President from March 2014 to July 2015.
Katherine started their career at IBM in 2007, first as a Senior Consultant from April 2011 to March 2014 and later as a Consultant from June 2007 to April 2011. At IBM, they worked on various projects, including Hyperion implementations for a print and digital information publisher, a medical devices company, and a consumer product goods company. Katherine played an integral role in defining requirements, developing reports, creating training materials, and overseeing testing.
In 2007, Katherine also had an internship at UBS.
Katherine Ritsema earned a B.S. degree in Finance and International Business from Miami University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Marian High School.
