Corey Schadt, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.
Starting in 2009, Corey worked as an Assistant Mover at Mr. Mover until 2011.
From 2010 to 2012, Corey held roles as a Food Service Worker and Student Meal Coordinator at Marquette University Straz Dining Hall.
In 2011, Corey also began working at Marquette University Department of Recreational Sports, initially as a Service Staff member and later as a Building Supervisor until 2013.
Moving on to the corporate sector, Corey joined ITW in 2013 as a Tax Intern and later became a Tax Analyst, working on operational planning until December 2014.
In 2015, Corey transitioned to KPMG US, first as an Associate in Federal Tax within the Financial Services department, and then as a Senior Associate in Business Tax Services from January 2016 to January 2019.
From January 2019 to November 2020, Corey worked at Northern Trust Corporation as a Senior Consultant in Investor Accounting, Hedge Fund Services. From November 2020 to April 2021, Corey continued with Northern Trust as an Associate Specialist in the same department.
Currently, Corey holds a role at GCM Grosvenor as an Associate in Fund Finance since April 2021 and was subsequently promoted to Principal in March 2023.
Throughout their career, Corey has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, tax, and operations across both corporate and academic settings.
Corey Schadt, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Marquette University from 2009-2013. In 2012, they also spent a year studying International Business with an emphasis on the European Union at the University of Antwerp. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in December 2016.
