Craig Shinners is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law and innovation management. Currently serving as the Innovation Manager at Groq since June 2020, Craig focuses on protecting seminal innovations at the startup. Prior roles include Director of Patents at Synopsys Inc and Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Trident Microsystems, where responsibilities encompassed M&A, technology licensing, and portfolio monetization. Craig has also held senior positions in intellectual property at MIPS Technologies and the Law Office of Craig E. Shinners. Earlier in the career, Craig's background includes engineering roles at Applied Micro and Delco Electronics. Craig holds a JD in Law and Intellectual Property from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
