Ivan Ball has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Ivan co-founded Heliponix in 2016, where they held the role of CTO. At Grain Processing Corporation, Ivan worked as an Electrical and Instrumentation Division Engineer from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they designed graphic user interfaces, assisted with installation of industrial instrumentation, managed electrical commissioning of projects, and maintained a network of power monitoring systems. Prior to that, Ivan worked as a Purdue Research Electrical Engineer from 2016 to 2017, where they designed and built an automated hydroponic plant growth chamber. Ivan also gained valuable experience as an Electrical Engineer Co-op at Grain Processing Corporation from 2013 to 2016, working on various projects related to controls, instrumentation, and power distribution. Throughout their work experience, Ivan has developed skills in research, planning, communication, and budgeting.

Ivan Ball received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Purdue University. Ivan attended from 2012 to 2017, completing their degree in the specified field of study. Additionally, they pursued a second Bachelor's degree in the same field from Purdue University from 2012 to 2016.
