Ton Wiegman is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning several decades in primary education. As of October 2023, Ton is available for interim leadership and administrative assignments after retiring in June 2023. Previously, Ton served as a Director at Groningse Schoolvereniging from April 2000 to October 2023, focusing on developing bilingual, international, and highly gifted education programs. In addition, Ton held governance roles with Dutch International Primary Schools and previously directed multiple primary schools in the Leek and Stedum areas. Ton's educational background includes degrees from Nijenborg, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and a certification from the Dalton Association.
