Edgar Stafford serves as Group Legal Counsel at GroFin since July 2010, overseeing the group's legal department and managing legal affairs across multiple countries, which include fund structuring, investor negotiations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to GroFin, Edgar worked as an attorney at Higgs & Johnson from January 2008 to June 2010, gaining experience in corporate and commercial matters, including investment fund structures and compliance regulations. Edgar's legal career began as a solicitor at Ashfords LLP from June 2002 to December 2007, focusing on real estate conveyancing and estate planning. Edgar holds an MPhil in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and a B Proc in Law from the University of the Free State.
