Vangelis Makris is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software delivery and research. Currently serving as a Senior Software Delivery Manager at GRNET since September 2017, Vangelis specializes in establishing procedural guidelines for software delivery and coordinating project teams. Additionally, Vangelis holds various roles at the National Technical University of Athens, including Scientific Researcher and Teaching Assistant, while also having previous experience as a Junior Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos." Vangelis holds an Integrated Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Architecture and Artificial Intelligence, as well as a PhD in Bioinformatics from the National Technical University of Athens.
