Ali El-Assy has over 15 years of professional experience in the engineering and construction industries. In 2006, they began their career as a Trainee at The Arab Contractors. In 2008, they served as an Engineering Intern at Alfred Benesch & Company. From 2009 to 2017, they served as a Senior Engineer at Alfred Benesch & Company, where they managed multiple projects, designed geometry for roadways and railways, and developed Maintenance of Traffic plans for multiple award-winning projects. In 2017, they became a Product Manager at Castifi, where they optimized product development timeline and created high-fidelity wireframes. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Project Engineer at Myers & Sons Construction, where they worked on the LAMP program for the expansion of Los Angeles International Airport. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at Granite Construction, where they managed the sequence of work to achieve schedule milestones and managed the budget and project expenses. In 2021, they became a Technical Program Manager at Grin Gaming and a Co-Founder at Smile Coin.
Ali El-Assy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Airport and Highway Public Works, from Ain Shams University between 2004 and 2009. In 2013, Ali obtained an Engineer In Training certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). In 2014, Ali obtained a Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International. Additionally, Ali has obtained a VE Module I certification from Alfred Benesch & Company.
