Graham Purnell is a highly experienced professional in food process engineering and automation, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer/Consultant at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing and a Senior Consultant at the University of Lincoln since April 2023. Additionally, Graham holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education since August 2009. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol's Food Refrigeration and Process Engineering Research Centre from February 1988 to July 2009, where Graham managed R&D programmes and consultancy projects. Early in the career, Graham contributed as a Research Associate and Research Assistant, focusing on automation and advanced cutting systems in the meat industry.
