Amanda Harris is a seasoned professional in food safety and quality management, currently serving as the Director of Food Safety & Quality for Griffith Foods since February 2007. With extensive experience leading a team of 40, Amanda has significantly enhanced compliance across US factories and has acted as a Crisis Management & Recall Coordinator during critical product incidents. Previous roles include Food Safety & Quality Systems Manager, where Amanda managed a team of 12 to align operational support with budget demands, and Quality Systems Team Leader, overseeing product quality and food safety. Earlier career experience includes managing a food microbiology laboratory at Silliker and developing quality assurance programs at Country Home Bakers. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
