Brendan Tsuda is a skilled software engineering intern currently working at Grid since May 2023. Previously, Brendan served as a Full Stack Mobile Engineer Intern at PlayPart Inc., where responsibilities included deploying a production-level Ruby on Rails backend application and collaborating with UI/UX designers to create iOS mobile application interfaces. Brendan has a background in chemistry, having worked as a Research Assistant at Calibr at Scripps Research, where two small-molecule drug candidates were developed, and as an Undergraduate Research Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, focusing on organic synthesis and photocatalysis analysis. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Intact Therapeutics and teaching chemistry as a Chemistry Teacher Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed education at App Academy.
