Matt Piekunka has over 14 years of experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Matt began their career in 2007 as a Support Technician at Blue Star IT Services & Solutions. In 2011, they joined Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as an Associate DevOps Engineer, then progressed to Senior DevOps Engineer, DevOps Architect & Team Lead, and Cloud Infrastructure Architect, DevOps. In 2018, they moved to Genesys as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, SRE, and designed and deployed an architecture documentation and requirements with Microsoft and internal stakeholders with a focus on Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automation, security, and observability. In 2022, they joined Gremlin as a Sr Software Engineer, Platform.

Matt Piekunka attended Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer & Information Technology Coursework.
