Russell J Strong is a Disputes Partner and Head of Marine and International at Greenwoods Legal LLP, a position held since June 2021. With a strong background in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and dry shipping, Russell has significant experience, including acting for a Claimant in a LCIA Arbitration for approximately US $190 million. Prior to current involvement, Russell served as a Senior Solicitor at Zaiwalla & Co, managing complex legal disputes, and worked as a Solicitor at Charles Lyndon, focusing on multi-million-pound competition claims and other practice areas. Russell began professional training at Chauncy & Co, completing a training contract and serving as a Paralegal. Educational accomplishments include an Oxford Executive Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School and an LLB Hons from the University of Nottingham.
