Gianfranco Iannello has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple decades. Gianfranco co-founded and worked as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Frontiere, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at GreenVulcano Technologies, including Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer North America, and Co-Founder. Gianfranco was also a Board Member at Sensoworks. Gianfranco co-founded E@I Software in 2001 and served as a Co-Founder, responsible for human resources, bid management, and coordinating company business processes. Gianfranco held leadership positions at Octo Telematics North America, serving as VP of Product and Vice President of Information Technology. Additionally, they worked at Octo Telematics Spa as an IT Director - USA (consulting). Gianfranco started their career at Telecom Italia Mobile as a Project Leader, contributing to the architectural design and development of SOA/middleware infrastructure. Gianfranco also worked at Sytel Reply as a Software Architect and at Proteam as an Analyst and Software Engineer. Gianfranco began their career as Director of IT at Società Italiana Archivi, focusing on the design, development, and configuration of document archiving software.

Gianfranco Iannello attended the Sapienza Università di Roma from 1990 to 1992, where they studied mathematics. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1990, they attended the Liceo Scientifico Amedeo Avogadro. Their educational journey began at the Scuola Elementare Ugo Bartolomei, where they completed their elementary education from 1976 to 1981. Additionally, Gianfranco obtained certifications from edX, including the "edX Verified Certificate for Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking" in 2021 and "Star Trek: Inspiring Culture and Technology" in 2020.
