Alan Smith currently serves as Chief Technical and Operations Officer and is a member of the Board at UAB ECSO since January 2023. Prior to this position, Alan Smith held multiple roles at Clean Tech UK - A Plastipak Company, including UK rPET Technical Manager and Technical Manager from October 2016 to January 2023. Previous experience includes Technical Manager positions at Evolve Polymers Limited and ECO Plastics Recycling Ltd., where responsibilities evolved from process engineering to team leadership. Alan Smith also worked as an engineer in various capacities, both self-employed and at companies such as Ambient Air UK Ltd and Pennington Lee, from September 2000 to October 2010.
