David Newhook is an accomplished professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in operations and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Greenstone Gold Mines since July 2021, David oversees mining and plant activities for a start-up project in Ontario. Prior roles include Principal at Newhook Mine Consulting, and various senior leadership positions at KGHMI, QuadraFNX, and Xstrata, where responsibilities included managing copper operations, executing major project developments, and enhancing operational efficiency. David's technical background is supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy from McGill University, earned between 1985 and 1991.
