Carlos Penunuri Yepiz CRSP is a seasoned safety professional with extensive experience in the health and safety field, particularly within the mining and construction sectors. Since February 1999, Carlos has held the position of Safety Specialist at CPY Safety Inc. and has recently served as Health and Safety Coordinator at Greenstone Gold Mines. Past roles include Health and Safety Superintendent at Ascot Resources Ltd. and HSE Advisor/Lead at Bird Industries, where significant projects involved LNG Canada and Enbridge Compressor Station construction. Carlos has also worked as HSSE Manager at WOOD Group and held several leadership positions in health and safety at various mining operations, including Guyana Goldfields and Teck Resources. Educational qualifications include a Certified Occupational Health and Safety degree from the University of New Brunswick and numerous certifications in safety management and emergency response from recognized institutions.
