Rachel McCann is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and IT. Currently serving as a Career Counselor and Computer Science Teacher at GEMS Education since August 2023, Rachel is involved in teaching the International British Curriculum to KS4 and KS5 students. Rachel has also been a Lead Course Coordinator and Personal Tutor at Southern Regional College since January 2016, along with holding the position of Unit Lead for Games Development since June 2017. Rachel's early career includes a work placement as an IT Support Technician at Southern Regional College, where responsibilities included managing technical issues via a Helpdesk and overseeing stock inventory. Academically, Rachel holds a Postgraduate Degree (PGCE FE) from Ulster University and has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computing and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science at the same institution.
