Anders Arpteg is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of AI and Data CoE at GlobalConnect since September 2024, and as a Founding Investor at Greens Ventures. Arpteg is also the founder of Agent Central AB, which commercializes a PhD thesis project focused on intelligent information extraction from multiple websites. Previous roles include Director of Data Science at Säkerhetspolisen, Vinnova AI Application Reviewer at Vinnova, and Steering Committee Member at AI Innovation of Sweden. Arpteg led the research team at Spotify, focusing on user behavior through machine learning, and built an AI team at Campanja to optimize Google Adwords campaigns for major clients. Early in the career, Arpteg served as Chief Scientist at Wiral Internet Group. Arpteg holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Linköping University and a BSc in Computer Science from Kalmar University.
