Julie Crichton has a diverse work experience in various HR and leadership roles. Julie started their career at McKinley in 2000 as an Executive Assistant/Recruiter, providing administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and assisting with executive relations. From 2003 to 2004, they served as an HR Representative, overseeing HR functions and managing 10 administrative employees. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as an HR Development Consultant, providing strategic HR advice to regional and onsite leadership. Julie was then promoted to Regional Human Resources Leader, where they coached regional senior leadership and ensured operational excellence in HR delivery.
In 2013, they joined The Andrews Group as the Director of Client Services for a brief period.
Since 2013, Julie has been with GreenPath Financial Wellness, initially as a Human Resources Manager before transitioning to roles in employee experience. Julie served as the Manager of Employee Experience, focusing on creating and maintaining a positive employee experience. Julie then became the Director of Employee Experience, and most recently, in June 2021, they assumed the role of Director of Talent & Employee Experience. Julie'smain focus is ensuring that employees feel valued, connected to the company's mission, appreciated, and engaged.
Julie Crichton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development from Baker College of Flint between 2010 and 2013. Julie also pursued Organizational Development studies at Eastern Michigan University from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they completed a course on Human Centered Design at Luma Institute. Julie has also obtained various certifications, including Employee Engagement Specialist from Top Workplaces in February 2023, CHRM - Change Management for HR from the Human Capital Institute in January 2023, and Strategic Workforce Planning from the Human Capital Institute in December 2022. Julie became a Certified Diversity Practitioner accredited by the National Diversity Council in 2020. Other certifications include SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) obtained in March 2015 and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) received in 2011 from HRCI.
