Luke Rikkers has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Luke began their career as a Desktop Support at Gill Marketing from September 2007 to November 2008. Luke then worked as an IS Field Engineer at Access Systems, Inc. from September 2012 to November 2013, where they were responsible for managing IT services for multiple companies. Luke then transitioned to Orchard Place as a Systems Administrator from June 2013 to June 2014, where they maintained and upgraded the IT infrastructure for the organization. From November 2014 to February 2016, Luke worked as an IT Consultant at 1 IT Source, providing technical support, network monitoring, and advising on IT solutions. Most recently, Luke worked as a Field Engineer 2 at GreenLoop IT Solutions starting in 2018.

Luke Rikkers attended Southeast Tech from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator.
